Silent light
The moon, a silver sickle in the night, Hangs heavy, watching with a silent light. The wind, a whispered secret through the trees, Rustles the leaves, and carries on the breeze A scent of rain, a promise softly given, Of cleansing tears, a world washed fresh from heaven. The stars, like diamonds scattered on black cloth, Reflect the dreams, both sorrow and of growth. A lonely owl, its haunting cry rings clear, A symphony of shadows, banishing all fear. The darkness holds a beauty, deep and vast, A quiet strength, that always comes to last.
