Silent drowner
I'm not ashamed to say it I'm a liar I hold secrets big and small It doesn't hurt me To bear them To tell them But still sometimes I feel as though I'm drowning Drowning, gasping for air Drowning, not being able to take a breath Sinking deeper and deeper down With each word that pulls me down But we all know Drowning is silent And no one will ever notice the silent drowner As I hit the bottom I gasp for air but to no avail No one will ever hear The secrets spilling out into the sea And me dying with them
