Silent Divides
Our distance isn’t what tore us apart, You were losing me even from the start. I spoke my truth, but you didn’t hear, Words faded away, swallowed by fear. I stood right before you, longing for light, Yet you looked through me, lost in your fight. In the moments we shared, I felt so alone, Your absence of notice carved deep in my bones. It wasn't the miles that made us divide, But the silent spaces where love had to hide. Now as we part ways, I carry the ache, For the love that was real but was left in the wake.
