Silent Deep
Silent Deep by Jack A.S. Dunce I'm tired of playing this fool's game of keeps; all things get buried under the sands of time. I'll risk it all, dive into the dark silent deep. The trivial things that piled up in heaps, all crumbled to dust at the drop of life's dime I'm tired of playing this fool's game of keeps. I've look down this ledge thinking of the leap: on the way down, would I find reason or rhyme? I'll risk it all, dive into the dark silent deep. All this time I might just have been asleep; can't find another reason for this pantomime I'm tired of playing this fool's game of keeps. I'm done with counting all those jumping sheep. it's too late anyway for my clock to chime. I'll risk it all, dive into the dark silent deep. A reckoning is on its way to reap. It's reason need not be all that sublime. I'm tired of playing this fool's game of keeps; I'll risk it all, dive into the dark silent deep. ©️pgmr 09/28/2024
