silenced
I feel worthless as if my voice has been silenced by the opinions of the world. Unrecognized, holding a gun to my head so that I wouldn't speak up. Broken, picking up the pieces of my heart as they step over me, one by one. Drowning in the pain and hurt caused by myself. When will my misery come to an end? I wonder. Am I even valued? You're to short, stop slouching, walk upright !!! They said. As if I'd ask to be here. Why can't the world just accept us for who we are? Beautiful, unique, different But no, they silence the unwanted, making us feel left out, boxing us up. Fighting won't help. We'd be fighting a losing game. So we sit in silence as we swollow our pain.
