Silence
Last night, the moon hung heavy, A witness to the storm within my walls. My heart, a fragile bird, Fluttered in the cage of my chest. You came, uninvited, A shadow cast upon my solitude. Fear, a chilling wind, Whispered through the cracks of my resolve. The night unraveled, A tapestry of pain and power. I, a passive canvas, Endured the brushstrokes of your will. Now, dawn breaks, But no warmth reaches my soul. Numbness, a cruel companion, Has claimed the throne of my heart. Words fail me, A hollow echo in the empty air. I yearn for silence, For the comfort of your presence, Not your words, but your warmth. Let us sit together, In the quietude of this aftermath. No need for explanations, Just the shared weight of this unspoken night.
