Silence
In the shadowed corners of my mind, no sound is found, What makes a whispered tale cry out, so loud? Is it the thoughts we think, or voices we hold dear, Or the secrets we guard, wrapped in silent fear? It’s not the chords that shape our speech, nor the steps we take, But the breath we draw, the air we quietly break, It’s the silence that surrounds, the stillness we embrace, That gives our words their meaning, and whispers their place.
