Silence
I am in a room with not many kinds, but the one with students sitting on chairs and boards with a lot of writing, as if there was no end to it. There’s tension, a tension where everyone had to stay; silent eyes were looking at our every move as if we were in uniforms of which we didn’t ask to be in but were forced. It was cold, as if the snow had just fallen. There was a silence, a silence that would have driven anyone to their insanity. You could hear the sound of clocks ticking with heavy breathing that came along with the silence. Suddenly, there was a sound, a sound that ended everything, including the clients. All heads were up, and pens were down. Suddenly, the air that tasted like nothing turned better, and time had stop as if someone had paused it.
