being only your friend sucks stuck on the sidelines I can't let you go oh how I've tried I try to let the feelings fade the memories of you dance at night your voice a distant sympathy tormenting my mind why'd you have to be so perfect? it would've been easy to hate you it's a vicious cycle fighting my feelings and emotions I find myself longing to be yours more and more I know you don't want me anymore not the way I want you every reminder is heartbreaking at the end of the day I'm glad I have you in my life even if it's only as a friend
