Shortage
Shortage of fuel, Shortage of LPG, Shortage of this, Shortage of that. Why the hell is everything Controlling the way we live? Have we truly become slaves, Just better dressed than before? And yet we called it modernization, We called it growth, advancement, change. But if survival depends on barter systems, Then how are we really free? We built skyscraper cities, Machines as replacement of men, Reached the skies with fastest flights, Yet panic over the scarcity again. Somewhere along the journey, Someone fooled us very well. They took away our independence And sold dependence as convenience. Now comfort owns the human mind, Necessities rules the soul, And the world that promised freedom Left us with less control. Perhaps progress was never bad, Perhaps the fault was ours own, We stopped learning how to live, And started surviving through amenities We no longer control.
