Short-term Memory Loss

What’s that again? Words I keep saying to myself again and again Did I write this under a dead tree? My memory keeps vanishing slowly When will it come back? I think there’s a crack That I need to cure Is my mind pure? Why do I keep losing my memories? Stop it, please Do I have dementia? Or is it just pseudodementia? I forgot There are words I want to say a lot If it slowly vanishes from my mind, How can I find peace of mind? Or is it the way?
