Shine
Once upon a time, there lived a little girl. This girl, She had a shine. She shined in many ways, she showed her colors. Thoughts of gold, thoughts of clay. Gold for the sake of charity, clay for the sake of molding. Molding her life to what it should be, what it should be without folding. LIfe has never been easy. Life has never been fair. The people have been sleazy, they also never cared. When she was a child she would write, write stories about love. Even though love was never in her sights. even when all they did was shove. Shove her to the side, without any protection. Nowhere to hide, only self reflection. The shine she once knew, is looking rather dim. She's forgetting just who, who she was to begin with. Men come and go. Leaving her in the shadows. This only goes to show, her loneliness can never say "no." The echos of disbelief, fill her head with hatred. Will she ever get relief? No, because she still fills her bed.
