She's Been There For it All
She's heard me at my worst My voice drowned in tears My voice half gone sick My throat ripped to shreds after screaming She's seen me at my worst Broke out from stress gasping for air crying Cut and scraped blood tracked down me She's felt me at my worst Sweating slick with fever knotted and tense Caked in dirt and tears She's also seen me at my best Smile beaming Skip in my step Relaxed and happy She's heard me at my best Laughing and giggling Singing too loud to be good sometimes Chattering and chirping She's felt me at my best Relaxed and comfy Strong and powerful Warm not hot So don't tell me it's weird to love her She's the only one to be there when I needed her Even if I didn't want her She's wiped the blood up Dusted me off Picked me up She made me try again and again Till I got it right And even when I didn't Even when I fell She was there to catch me
