She Drives With Her Knees
eyes so grey, they shine like emeralds. that million dollar smile could bring me to my knees. when i say her name, a mess of radiant colors spill onto my canvas. emotions of burnt orange, sunset reds, and midnight blues. hands so smol, i couldn't help myself when i began calling them mittens. she cradles the world so carefully in those smol, tiny, delicate fingers. she puckers her lips and exhales gusts of broken promises and repeated behaviors. self destruction redefined as medication. i write her name on the walls of this abyss disguised as a tourist destination. over and over again until her name loses meaning to everyone except I. i stare into those lively grey eyes and everything disappears. except her and i... ... and i ask her "is love never ending? because im beginning to think i have no limit on how much i can fall for someone..."
