Shattered reflection's ❄️
In mirrors shattered, I see a face, A life fragmented, a soul erased, Family bonds, now frayed and worn, A heavy heart, with love forlorn. Ties that bind, now suffocate, Expectations choke, create, A life predetermined, not my own, A script written, before I was known. In darkness, I search for the light, A guiding star, through endless night, But shadows loom, like specters cold, A constant reminder, I'm not whole. I yearn to break free, to unfold, To find my voice, my heart's untold, To shatter chains, to spread my wings, To flee the nest, where love's lost its springs. But still I hold, on to love's thin thread, A glimmer of hope, within my head, That someday, somehow, I'll find my way, And rise above, to seize the day.
