Shattered Dreams, Eternal Hope
ln echoes of memories, l hear your voice, A fleeting whisper, a haunting choice. You left, and my heart shattered like glass, A million pieces, a painful past. At first, denial's veil obscured my sight, Refusing truth, clinging to fading light. Years unveiled the cruel, hidden truth, My own mother's curses, a poisonous youth. Shattered, l crumbled, lost and alone, Tears fell like rain, my soul overthrown. Yet, amidst ruins, glimmer shines, God's promise: 'll'l never leave nor forsake thee, mine".( Joshua 1:5) ln darkest nights, His presence l feel, A comforting whisper,"l'm here, l heal. Through shattered dreams, He weaves a new tapestry, A masterpiece of hope, eternity. lrony of love, once pure, now tainted, A mother's hatred, a heart onceainted. Cocophony of emotions, chaotic pain, Euphony of faith, soothing my heart's refrain. Rhythm of tears, symphony of sorrow, Allusion to memories, echoes of tomorrow. Repetition of pain, refrain of heartache, Rhyme of resilience, hope's unbroken make. ln shattered remnants, l find my strength, Allusion to God's promise, eternal length. Through life's brokenness, He made me a new, A masterpiece, redeemed, forever true. Made by Nkosazana the daughter
