In your eyes, I found my light, A beacon in the darkest night. We danced in dreams of love so true, In every breath, I thought of you. Your touch, so tender, seemed sincere, A promise whispered in my ear. With every smile, I fell deeper still, Believing in your loving will. But shadows hid beneath your kiss, In moments filled with fleeting bliss. Your words, like honey, sweetly spun, Concealed the truth I dared to shun.
