Words have power So be sure to taste them before you spit them out Words can inspire and words can destroy Sticks and stones may break my bone But words can also Harm me Stones and sticks break only skin Whiile words are ghosts that haunt me Slant and curved the word-sword fall to pierce and stick inside me Bats and bricks may ache through bones But words can mortify me Pain from words has left it scar On mind and heart thats tender Cuts and bruises now have healed It words that I remember
