Shatter Me
Each shard of memory, a distant dream, Hope akin to a glass, fragile yet pristine, In the hall of my being, they gleam, Echoes of a life I once felt was divine. Beneath the weight of endless skies, I stand, a monument to brokenness, Yet within me, a phoenix set to rise, From the ashes of despair's caress. I am not defined by the cracks that bind, But by the light's ray that filters through, In the dance of the silent chaos, I find, The beauty in being imperfectly true. Shatter me, stand by to watch me rise, For in brokenness, I find my strength, To turn a new leaf beyond sane and wise, In the journey of life's breadth and length.
