sharps and edges
I like the dangerous, the edges sharp and thin I like the forbidden flicker flames where the dark begins I like the smoke that curls from his lips into mine so then I slip behind I like the adrenaline racing The red blush into my cheeks On my veins the pulse of thrill speaks And his playful grin like a kid He's a riddle And my goal isn't to fix him But to climb into his mind A messy forehead kiss His hands on my freezing skin And his gaze a tender whim that brings me to my knees I like the dangerous, beside the tightrope my bare feet Scenarios so onyric Am I playing the victim? Even if I'm not screaming? This is me, I choose to lose There's a thin veil between dream and ruin And if this is a crime Why does the handcuffs reek his scent?
