Sharp (first poem ever LOL)
You leave a cut on my back, but oh my! You're so sharp! You're so shiny! You're so clean! No rust! Ouch- another cut! But my-my! So shiny, sharp, and clean! Meaning of this for those who don't get it: This poem is about a toxic relationship. One partner is continuously betraying the other (represented in this poem by the knife cuts.) The other partner is being betrayed- but they ignore it and instead focus on the appearance of the knife (partner) what appears good on the surface.. instead of what is actually being done to them.
