Shame pain.
Walking over her sorrows With the bottom of a bottle. She's a glass full of champagne. The crackles inside her body Has her bubbly. Her voice sunken in a barrel; "I was a little flower, Mama braced her sons, Papa seized my pride. I walked out, threw away my heart. That too left me in peaces, I clung like monkeys in trees But fell like a meteor. Wait I need more, More champagne" The floor is alive to the sound of music. She's dancing as though She's shaking pain off her skin. " I'm a legendary boxer's punching bag I feel wrinkly and saggy like a plastic bag." But these million eyes See pearls when she smiles. She wears that emotion Day by day... The world is numb to her tears But tonight she's shaming her pain. She'll dance until the earth feels The stump of her grumpy feet Because she deserves to feel free.
