Shall I call it my home? By: Marivil Boniza In the asylum where sorrow found its voice, shadows cling haunting the empty space, where I had a solemn choice, A life of misery, I somehow had a degree, An empty room where silence deemed a demon, a monster, a freak, a destiny, a fate of mine, to belong to a place where insanity rules silence lingers, yet the emptiness I dread, Tortured soul I confined within those walls, The weight of darkness, heavy and cold cast upon my weary soul Vengeance grip in my heart, death in my mind, Blood and Revenge hammering inside my head, for u had prick my mind and bleed, shall I not revenge? My role, a tale, a story of woe untold and unfound, with every passing hour, my anguish deeper grew, In torment's grip, soul knew no respite, no escape A chains of my fate, bound by pain, I cease my existence for it is a bane, The burdens and bucket full of tears I carry, I no longer want to hold I longed to find an asylum where I belong a fantasy I dwell, to find my place where solace reside The asylum in my mind, wander darkness reigns supreme,
