Shadow's to Light
Screaming loudly, no-one hears A desperate cry, lost in the fears Darkness creeping, feeling so alone The weight of shadows, a heavy stone With one sharp sound, it could all be done A fleeting thought, a moment's won But what's that I hear? A gentle tone Hope again, a light that's shown In the darkness, a spark takes flight A beacon calling, through the endless night A lifeline thrown, a hand to hold Rescue's here, the darkness grows cold The hand enfolds, a warm embrace A gentle voice, a reassuring pace In this safe space, I start to breathe The weight lifts off, my soul revives With every breath, I start to heal The light expands, my heart reveals A path unwinds, a new-found way Through the darkness, into a brighter day
