Shadows of you
He smiles, and the world feels lighter, like morning finding its way through clouds. There’s something in his eyes; a calm I never knew I needed. His voice carries a kind of warmth that makes the heart forget its fears. Every word, a touch I still remember, every glance, a promise that never spoke. He wasn’t mine, not really: but love doesn’t always ask for names. Sometimes it just stays quietly, in the spaces between thoughts. And when I miss him, it feels like remembering sunlight. ☀️
