Shadows of Deception

When the sun spoke of the moon's darkness, And the stars felt betrayed. For the moon was too innocent to understand, The feeling of hatred and dismay. The moon's respect towards the sun was huge, But the sun being full of pride, Inflicted upon moon its cruel lies. Leaving scars, the truth denied. Yet the moon was too dumb to realise, That the sun always left him in a dreadful sight. While the stars tried to protest, But the sun ended up snatching all its light. With the moon disappearing bit by bit, The stars could do nothing but weep. While the sun shone in victory, And the moon drifted into a neverending sleep. With the stars in anguish for all that happened, Began to succumb altogether, Resulting to form an abyss, eating the sky. The sun frightened, thinking this was the end of forever. The abyss ate up the sun and the sky, And so there was nothing left for to cry. The sun had its lesson, and the moon gave up innocence, This was the end of the world, where we could never believe our presence. -Luna
