"Shadows of Betrayal"
Beneath the moon’s cold, ghostly glow, In shadows where the dead things grow, A dagger kissed my spine last night, From a hand I thought was right. Lies curled like serpents in your grin, Venom seeped beneath my skin, You promised truth but whispered death, With every word, you stole my breath. Your friendship was a hollow shell, A coffin in which secrets dwell, You fed me poison, sweet and slow, Till rot was all I’d come to know. The trust I gave, you tore apart, A knife plunged deep into my heart, Now blood and bile, a bitter stream, Drown the remnants of my dream. I see your face, a twisted mask, The devil’s work in human task, Your name is etched in crimson shame, A ghost that lingers in my name. I’ll dance with death, my final friend, For this betrayal knows no end, In graveyard dirt, we’ll both reside, Bound by the sins you cannot hide.
