shadows in my head
In the mirror, my reflection lies, A fractured soul with hollow eyes, Whispers echo in the darkest night, Twisting thoughts in endless fright. A dance of madness, a bitter waltz, Where joy and sorrow both revolt, The highs so sharp they pierce the sky, The lows like graves where dreams go to die. Voices taunt, unseen they scream, Tearing seams in every dream, Anxiety grips, a phantom's hand, Drowning me in shifting sand. Sanity slips like grains through glass, Moments of peace are shadows that pass, Schizophrenic ghosts that haunt my brain, Filling my world with endless pain. Yet in this chaos, I still stand tall, A puppet to the madness’ call, For in this storm, I’m not alone— In these dark halls, I’ve found a home.
