Shadows
Shadows Shadows creep, lurking through the night, Darkness hiding them out of sight, Silent figures, haunting fear, Stay alert, shadows are near, No escaping they follow you, it is true, Shadows of the night, eerie view, Forever roaming free, a lost soul, Trapped in Darkness can it be, Shadows are the nights cloak, Silent, stealthy, a whispered joke, Their presence felt but never seen, Mysterious, haunting, just like a dream, In the Darkest of nights,Shadows creep, Roaming the streets, as humans sleep, A world of secrets, they interwine, Whispers heard, but not a sound, Shadows reign, darkness abounds, Shadows creep, slither and shift, They haunt and observe with a careful drift, Stretching and crawling with a dark art, Masking the sun with a gloomy early start, Shadows so black, silent and bold, Always behind your back, Creeping and lurking, Secrets so loud but never told.
