Sense Of Belonging
In empty rooms, I search for a place to belong, But every door remains shut, leaving me to roam. I yearn for connection, love, and light, But it's hard to find, in this endless fight. I'm a stranger in crowds, a face without a name, A soul lost, without a sense of belonging's flame. I try to fit in, but it's hard to pretend, To be part of something that will never be my friend. I'm a leaf without a tree, a bird without a nest, A heart searching for a place to rest. Longing to belong, I wander, alone and blue.
