SEMICOLON
I will begin this poem with an exclamation mark Used for strong emotions, like how I scream in the dark Loud enough that could cause my throat to explode But still, no one could hear all the burdens I hold Question mark to open the second stanza Because I want to ask how to end this trauma Tried wrist-cutting when I feel doleful and sad Hoping that the sorrow will flow with my blood I wish there was a way to emphasize my situation If I could just put my life inside a quotation So that they could see that I am close to jumping Off a tall cliff, as I have been crumbling All they advise is I should just take a short rest Take a deep breath, and unload this heavy chest Just like a comma where you pause for a little while All these are too much; I am just a juvenile There was even a time I pointed a gun to my head Yet, ended up just weeping the whole night on my bed A period could have ended this, yet I chose to go on For now, I will close this poem with a semicolon
