self-fulfillment / my pleasure
at this point in life the personal part is called up short on what I enjoy I have dedicated my life to serving those in need mother father spouse friends boyfriends and employers I have shred off my own pleasures making me feel like a mortar now I am going to gamble on myself authentic love of self includes the risk of self fulfillment it's time to do something unpredictable and with some delight in it gradually experiencing the things I wanted to but avoided or prohibited myself from doing due to lack of caring for myself the routine of the obligations go so secure they laughed into complacency it is in our power to seek out moments to savor and encourage ourselves to break away from our routine we can learn to treat ourselves well our daily or weekly inventory can include what we do for pleasure today let me find something different something I enjoy just for myself and let me find pleasure in it. written by Rhonda Kendrick
