Seeking Solace
In shadows deep, where silence lies, I seek a place to close my eyes. Not here, not gone, just in between, In darkness or a meadow green. I long to feel the joy inside, Yet find a void I cannot hide. With all that’s planned, still lost, I sigh, Not here, not gone, just asking why. Among the flowers, trees so tall, I wonder if I should stay small. To fix this void, to find my way, Or quietly in shadows stay. But know that light can pierce the night, And bring to life the darkest sight. In time, the answers you may find, With patience, love, and peace of mind.
