See-through mirror
I feel you now that I'm sober like embers crawling underneath my skin The fire is crowding all around me and I don't know where to begin. So much now has changed Just to stay the same Truths don't bend they break upon the guilt they take but still, I do this for you in hopes that I can step through. It's like an open door but still, it desires more. Rivers come and gone but still, I don't belong I just hope to feel her more than a see-through mirror. What good is saying what is done is done when it seems that all the good die young? Will you disappear if I look through a see-through mirror? If what will be will be then what good is it to wait and see? But when I'm filled with fear I look inside a see-through mirror. I felt your burden as your heart closed steady on as it goes. I feel your blue breath all around me Thinking of everything we've been through. My grip is tight but I'm slipping and I don't know what to do.
