Second Place

I desperately try to grab your attention. Nomatter what I try I’m never successful. I give up. I am so tired of being second place. I want to be a priority in your life. I want you to miss something for me. I have missed out on so many good times for you. I need you to do the same for me. I will not beg to be first anymore. I am so tired of losing. I’m done with giving it my all only to come up short. I can’t be the runner up each time I need you in life. I will not be second place for the rest of my life.
