Second guess
You make me second-guess you by your action and the words you use. You say one thing and do another thing. You cover it with I love you. I don't want words. I want action. Your words mean nothing to me. When you consistently put in the effort. When you say, I love you. It makes me second-guess myself. Does he love me? Or he loves what I can give him. I am moving forward in life. When I look back, you are standing there. You have not moved a step. How can we grow? When you don't want to take that step. You won't let go of your promises to me. But you choose to stay as you are. That makes me second-guess everything you say to me. You say that you will follow me. But when I look back to see if you are behind me.
