Second Floor
I see you again today Quick sight, I recognize Your similar arrogant pose, A neat white t-shirt, a pair of black trousers The same short haircut And the same rainy, lonely day. Just like in October of last year A single stormy week when I thought you were My prince charming holding that violet umbrella I can still remember Third floor stairs where I ran, and Busy concrete crosswalks, and Cold raindrops, I walked you to the bus But we are in the new building now Here on the second floor Empty wooden corridor, stand there alone You seem sad for a second And if your shirt was wet from the sky's tears And if you hadn't waved to your friend And if you had kept your head down for a little longer I have a feeling That I might have walked to you Just to rescue you Just to save you And I don't even know why I should When you are the first one who Has killed me Before. 10/25/2023
