Searched for happiness
I longed for happiness, I searched and searched but it was nowhere to be found. You walked into my life, when I was about to take the knife, no, I didn't want to die, but you gave me reason not to lie. I'd say I'm fine but you'd look me in the face, hold my hand in your hand and tell me "it's all lies happiness does not exist, you have to create it yourself" my eyes goes bloodshot red and I fall to my knees, you kneel down and cup my face in your hands, you wipe off my tears with your fingers and you finally behind my walls. "He broke me, it's him" I point to the man standing in the kitchen. He just came from work and you look at me, stunned, the man of God?. You grab me closer to you and I sob, I sob till no tears comes out. The day when my happiness came back, was when I got to see you everyday on the train on the way to school, you held my hand when I felt the train move, I went to your house everyday after school, you'd help me focus, you were there for me, you made me smile and I no longer had to lie, "no I'm fine" because it was no longer a lie. I searched for happiness and I found you.
