sealed lips
My wings have been snatched away, my tongue has been cut out, the meager light of my days has been extinguished. Everything comes to an end, but I wished I could think that the end of my freedom and independence would never come. They held no happiness for me, but they sustained me in a limbo that prevented my fall into the opposite. I feel unable to go on. I need to speak, but my lips have been sealed. I need to scream, but I don't have a breath left. All that remains is to wait, bound in a constant time, trapped in the loop of my closed mind, unable to release any thought, locked up with my feelings; for eternity.
