Scream.
Emotions swirl inside like birds in a cage. The regular rhythm of my heart, beating hard and fast. I want nothing more than to scream. To let it out, to show the world that I am more than a wallflower. I feel as if I am slipping off the page. My thoughts a labyrinth, a maze with no end. I cannot make it if i do not scream. I must make myself known, for people must know I will not cower. My tears carry a message to those who feel lost and broken. My pain creates a path for those who do not have the strength to make their own. I will scream. I will prove that I can make it on my own. And what would happen if I didn't, if I left everything unspoken? If i never told my story, If i didn’t ever scream. What if I didn't prove that I would not get thrown? My life left untold. My choice never voiced. No one ever heard the scream. Instead of proving I was not, I proved that I was and always will be a wallflower.
