School Days, Golden Memories
In hallowed halls of learning's might, Laughter echoes, day and night. I cherish moments, pure and bright, School days, golden, shining light. With friends and teachers, side by side, We navigated life's early tide. Homework, classwork, constant tests, Punishments, too, we did our best. Teachers' words, sometimes stern and strong, Love and care, forever long. A gentle touch, guiding hand, Helped us grow, in a wondrous land. Exam days loomed, fearsome and grim, Games period brought joyful whim. A week's wait, a single delight, Made every face shine, morning light. Maths and physics teachers, absent today, Inner joy, we'd secretly sway. "God, keep games teachers, let's play!" We'd pray, hearts full of glee. PTM and report cards, dreaded sight, Vanish, we'd wish, with magic might. But teachers' support, forever true, Made school days, memories anew. Those golden days, I now confess, Except exam days, what a mess! Life lessons learned, friendships made, School days, forever displayed.
