scary night
In the heart of the night, when the moon is aglow, And the shadows dance, in the soft candle's glow. Halloween whispers through the crisp autumn air, Echoes of laughter and screams of despair. Pumpkins are grinning, with eyes glowing bright, Guardians of secrets, in the cool, eerie night. Witches and ghosts, all gather in thrall, In the season of spooks, they have a ball. Through the rustling leaves, footsteps you hear, A rustle, a murmur, drawing near and near. Costumes and masks, the known becomes unknown, In the realm of the mystical, where fears are grown. Down the dark pathways, children delight, Knocking on doors, "Trick or Treat!" In the night. Sweet treats and candies, fill buckets with glee, In the spirit of Halloween, all souls are free. Creeping through graveyards, where the past comes alive, The thrill of the chill, the excitement, the dive. An owl hoots solemnly, perched on a tomb, In the gloom, tales of terror loom. Yet, amidst the fear, laughter rings clear, Halloween is a time of cheer. A time when the veil between worlds is thin, And we revel in stories of what might have been. So, light your lanterns, let them shine bright, In the heart of Halloween's mysterious night.
