Scars That Never Faded
Scars That Never Faded Bullying didn’t always hurt loudly. Sometimes it smiled. I was laughed at for not knowing things. Punished for staying innocent. When I spoke, I was told to adjust. When I stayed silent, I was blamed again. So I learned to doubt myself first. Those days still live in me— in quiet moments, in sudden fear, in words I hesitate to say. But they also taught me how to feel deeply, how to understand pain, how to write when speaking felt unsafe. The scars are still there. But so am I. Still standing. Still writing. -Aria lune
