Scars
This pain inside where nobody knows, Where nobody can see, the darkness deep within, Slowly crushing, draining, killing me, Tortured inside, riddled with sin, My scars tell a story of silent screams, Long battles fought in shadows deep unseen, Every line marks a fight between snaity and insanity , My minds is put to the ultimate test daily, Each cut a reminder of a blade from a knife, I can no longer cope with my chaotic life, Seeking solace in the pain of the jaggered blade, My only coping mechanisim in a darkened masquerade, Every scar is a cry for help in disguise, Nobody will see the pain behind my smiling eyes, My wrist adorned with scars like a canvas of pure art, One million demons chasing me, ripping me apart, My mind is a battlefield of twisted thoughts and hatred, Dead weight body a temple of anguish, one soul degraded, These scars on my skin, a heart full of sorrow, My mind is broken, i am nothing only hollow, Scars they linger, visible reminders of the past, Engraved onto my flesh, the damage has already been done, Although the struggles have gone, the war has not been war, for a new battle has begun, Fighting for my life as if it was my last.
