Scared to Love 💔
I wish you were real not just a thought I hold, but something I can touch, like cool water slipping through my fingers at the edge of the sea. Not imagined, not a guess, but a love I can feel close enough to reach, soft enough to stay. I want to love you openly, to hear your laughter shape my days, to find comfort in your presence not as a princess waiting to be saved, but as someone you choose, fully. Yet here I am, unsure loving someone I’ve never truly known before, afraid of falling too deep into something that may be so steep. Afraid you won’t feel the same, afraid I’ll give more than I receive, afraid of being something temporary in a place I thought was imaginary, It’s strange how love can feel so real and still be so uncertain. I’m scared to fall, but even more scared to love
