Scared for the Future
There are few words you can say That can bring down my whole day Call me a liar And I shall only lie to you Even when I speak the truth Call me my mother And I shall only harm you Even when I claim to love you Ask my biggest fears during the day And I shall tell you It’s the dark Ask my biggest fears during the night And I shall tell you It’s my future children I am horrified to be my mother Scared to be my father Cry to be my brother I am scared I am too much like my father As everyone claims I am afraid to be distant and only show emotions in big waves I am terrified to be my mother And not notice the pain I cause For everyone but her seems to know what she does I fear to be my brother And never grow up For I had to raise him myself I am not sure if I fear my future children, Or if I fear for them.
