Say Goodbye to Love

How do you say goodbye to love? Here's some ways I've thought of: Curse Cupid for his errant dart; lament that you're so sick at heart. In your many friends confide; don't just set your friends aside. Take long walks in the snow or rain. Cry out loud, display your pain. Deny your tears or let them pour. Just turn and walk, don't slam the door. Drink or smoke until you're numb, (Some people do this, though it's dumb.) Just laugh out loud or shout your story. Be a stoic, go down in glory. Get some sleep, or stay up late. Get upset but articulate. Let loose your anger but control your rage. Or perhaps just simply turn the page. Oh, you have many options to explore; these are a few, there are dozens more. (But do not resort to violence, or let self-pity break the silence.)
