Savor
If it wasn't for This pounding in my chest, I would have thought I left my heart Right there on the counter. But even now, Hours later I can hear it's every beat- 'Who are you' 'Show me' 'I want more of you'. I have never known A greed So all consuming, One that picks apart a conversation With it's teeth, Rolling around each moment On its tongue- Trying to savor Each morsel.
