Saudade
I sit nursing my heartbreak, Swearing to the heavens, this will be the last. Then the door goes crashing open, And I see you smile from the arms of another. Maybe… just one more try. The cycle repeats. I lie in bed, nursing my broken nose, Vowing this must be the end. But your voice makes hell turn heavenly, And I run to you, an unparalleled fool To resume the torture you have to spare. I offered my heart; you stomped on it. With nothing left to give, I borrow from another, Then another. And if my hearts will never be enough, I offer my soul.
