Saturnalia
It's always the most beautiful and dignified that we kill. We only eat ones of the best quality. Just imagine the formidable power of these beings, Imagine their proud past and incredible unrealized potential fused into this dead flesh we consume. It's always the tallest tree we cut, so alluring is its aroma at the celebration of the stillborn God. It's always the wisest words we choose when we gather, when we awkwardly whisper the sacred myths. We are not able to recognize God. Our will to life is volcanic. Our will to death is the rivers of lava, an inverted cross we keep close to our hearts.
